Pre-Academy

This program is designed for students aged 8 to 18 years old who love dance but may not be able or ready to commit to the requirements of The Academy. Requirements include students taking a minimum of 4 classes a week with training offered in classical ballet, Modern Jazz., Tap, Hip-Hop and African Dance. Overseen by Dean Karen McDonald and Ms. Allen, the Pre-Academy faculty is the same as the Academy Masters. The Pre-Academy program serves as a gateway into the Academy: as students progress in technique, recommendations are made.

Performances:

The Pre-Academy students perform in the end of year concert and are also encouraged to audition for the annual theatrical productions.
