Each holiday season, Debbie Allen's annual musical production of the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker is made available to thousands of students across Southern California schools. This year, school-based performances of the 2024 production will take place at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center from December 3rd - 6th.

LIMITED $15 SUBSIDIZED SCHOOL TICKETS

To promote the cultivation of performing arts in schools, a limited number of $15 subsidized tickets for school-aged children and their chaperones are available on a first come, first served basis. School show tickets are only available for purchase by home schools, private, public, charter and magnet schools, K-12. Please note, verification is required and reservations for tickets are not complete until payment in full is received.

All school shows are part of the rehearsal process for the cast. Please note, shows may be paused or edited for technical / production related purposes, giving school audiences a behind the scenes experience of what it takes to produce live theater.

There are ONLY four school shows offered. School show tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another performance once purchased.

Ample bus parking is provided at the theater. To ensure a timely experience, schools must arrive one hour prior to show time.
